SEESOIL Meeting - Soil Functions and Land Use Change

The 2012 SEESOIL annual meeting will be hosted by the University of Reading. The meeting will focus on the impact of land use change on soil functions, such as carbon and nutrient storage and fluxes, as well as water storage, flooding, erosion and biodiversity. The meeting will consist of two parts, a morning session of talks and an afternoon field trip to the University experimental farm at Sonning, where soil profiles under different land uses will be discussed.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
If you would like to give a short presentation or present a poster on this or a related theme please e-mail Dr Elena Vanguelova elena.vanguelova@forestry.gsi.gov.uk. All contributors (oral and poster presentations) are invited to submit their extended abstracts to be published in the electronic annual SEESOIL proceedings. The closing date for the submission of extended abstracts (up to 4 A4 pages) is March 5th 2012.
